January brings with it snow here in Colorado; this kind of weather is to be expected in January. This morning we woke to a fresh coat of soft snow. After a quick clean of our driveway and sidewalks, the boys and I decided to hit the big hill next to the middle school.
To our surprise, we were the first to hit the hill. The Brewington Boys will be the first, kings of the hill, trailblazers making the first grooves in the freshly fallen snow.
Of course, it is not with its hazards being the first up and down the hill. Getting up is difficult and coming down, well let’s just say that can be challenging.
All in all, it was a cold and fun experience. Now time for some hot chocolate and to wait out the rest of the storm.
